Web 2.0

As a recent college graduate, David Gallant has immersed himself in both web 2.0 technologies and computer development. While attending the University of New Hampshire, David focused his time on Internet Development and Geographic Information Systems. Upon graduating he began his professional career as the youngest member at a Boston-area marketing agency. His focus included content creation, brand management, Apple IT support, and digital delivery. While at the agency, David developed a passion for Apple Inc. computers. He still frequently blogs about iPhone applications. After spending time at the agency David felt it was time to challenge himself with something new. Boston’s hottest Internet startup, HubSpot, was just the type of challenge he needed. He is one of the prominent members of the Customer Service team and interacts directly with the company’s user base. His daily tasks include software integration, bug fixing, error troubleshooting and working with other departments within the company to improve the product. David found his first job unconventionally: on Twitter. His unique story has prompted speeches at Boston-area universities, as well as national and international features stories. He has even been interviewed by Boston’s leading news station, Fox 25 News. His hobbies include remixing and live DJing and can often be found mixing R&B and Top 40 music during his free time.
